About Clinton

I have lived in Asheville and Buncombe County for over 60 years and worked in a local EMS agency for 30 years. That longevity makes it easy to be familiar with the communities in Asheville and Buncombe County. I enjoy helping people find a home that works for them or sell their existing property, even in a challenging market. I enjoy contributing to the local community and beyond through mission groups, teaching and mentoring.  My clients will tell you I am reliable, prompt, and go above and beyond to help them meet their objectives!

I am familiar with all communities in Asheville and Buncombe County after working here in a long EMS career. I am most familiar with East and West Asheville and Northern and Eastern Buncombe County. If I was going to identify one specific area I am most familiar with it would be the 28805 zip code (Eastern Buncombe and East Asheville). Tammy and I have raised our sons here and we are very proud of them and our growing number of grandchildren! 

My favorite hobby is fixing things because I like the feeling of accomplishment and the fact that I can continue to use something I have repaired it on my own. -

I volunteered with the chaplain at the local youth detention facilities for a number of years, and continue to mentor local youth who are friends of the family. I enjoy mission trips with the church group doing home repairs or disaster relief and working on Habitat houses. I have served at several volunteer fire departments through the years, most recently as Captain and also Board President at Haw Creek VFD. We contribute to the Eblen charities, A-B Tech Foundation, our church, and other local charities.

I have been a licensed real estate since August 2021 and affiliated with Weichert Realtors Unlimited the entire time. I am honest and diplomatic and eager to help anyone in need. I am a good (trained) listener. I am dependable and trustworthy and can keep confidences without fail. My EMS career taught me the value of trust and dependability. People had to trust me with their medical information, to be in their homes when they were not able to monitor us and to tend to their urgent needs with great accuracy and skill. I also became familiar with every community in Buncombe County. There aren’t many roads I haven’t been on responding to a call for help.

My I.T. job taught me a lot about technology which helps me understand software systems and hardware necessary for real estate research and sales in today’s market. My volunteer chaplain experience has helped me to encounter and engage a wide variety of people in whatever situation they are in and with whatever history they bring to the moment.  I have been trusted with many pieces of personal history that remain secretly stored with me today.  I typically go out of way to serve anyone in need. Tammy and I have been dedicated to raising and enjoying our children, and the children of others who graced our home in need of a place to stay.
